Haier HWR12XC8 12,000-BTU Window Air Conditioner with Remote Control

I bought one from Walmart 2 years ago. My daughter needed a new A/C for her room, she said her GE A/C was not cold enough. My Haier A/C was the coldest A/C I have ever owned. I ordered one just like it from Amazon and it was delivered in 5 days. It is exactly like the one I own ... it is the coldest A/C I have ever owned. We operate our A/C 8-9 months of the year, continuous .. without a flaw. It is the only A/C I will ever own.

This works very good at cooling my living room in Arizona. It's a window unit, but I put it in a wall unit casing and it works just fine. I recommend it.

HAIER WINDOW A/C HWR 12XC8

The unit is a bit noisier than the other two Haier units that I have, but not annoying. I have it set so that it turns itself off completely when it reaches temperature, instead of having the fan continue blowing, and that is a great feature. The unit arrived with some exterior cosmetic damage and, because the vendor would not order the replacement parts, I contacted Haier and found their customer support to be very helpful. My other two units are two years old and operate without a hitch.

I installed the unit by myself, but recommend and extra pair of hands to put it on the sill.
