Now know why called PowerGlide!hehe,easy to move over rugs. Grt picker upper. Loved the color-red; like having start button near the top(on side)Not loud! Its a lower sound, so it doesnt bother your ears(specially mine)Just got today and used, and got the old dust and bits of tiny paper off a badly worn rug on low setting!..delivery was real fast. I was soo surprised!Turbo tool even better for upholstry.A plus! Good product-- hope all remains that way. even gave me an extra bag too. Thanks Bissell, great machine.

I'm delighted with this vacuum cleaner. I recently got a cat and wanted to keep the pet hair under control. I thought I would have to spend at least twice as much money (probably more!) to get this much suction. It pushes just fine across the carpet (even on low setting) and seems to do a good job. The real benefits are the attachments. The hose has fantastic suction and they weren't kidding when they called it a turbo brush. I wouldn't use it on anything delicate, but it's great for regular upholstery. I used the dusting attachment on my lampshades and was impressed. I also wanted a bagged vacuum (less mess... which is the point of cleaning!), which seem to be harder to find these days. The downsides are that it's sorta hard to get the hose out of it's holder and it's a little heavy. But overall, I would definitely recommend this vacuum, especially if you're looking for good attachment suction. And only $80!!

This vacuum is GREAT ! It has great power ...picks up wonderfully ...the brush tool makes cleaning the furniture
a breeze. It is heavy to push ..but very managable.

KEEP YOUR DYSON AND OTHER OVER PRICED WONDERS THIS VACUUM IS THE BEST!!
THIS IS MY SECOND BISSELL IN ONLY 8 YEARS. I WANTED THE POWER AND RELIABILITY OF THE FIRST MODEL BUT FOUND THAT THE BAGLESS MODEL WAS REALLY TOO MUCH WORK TO KEEP CLEAN AS THE MOTORS ON THESE UNITS REALLY GET ALL THE TINY STUFF YOU DON'T SEE BUT ADDS UP. WITH THIS BAG UNIT I JUST HAVE TO OPEN AND THROW IT AWAY.
THERE ARE WONDERFUL AND USEFUL ON-BOARD ATTACHMENTS AND THAT SEXY LITTLE STAIR SWEEPER THAT MAKE CLEANING LESS OF A CHORE.
NO CONTACT WITH THE ALLERGY CAUSING STUFF AND LITTLE MAINTENANCE.BRAVO BISSELL!!!

I've owned this Bissell PowerGlide Platinum upright for a few weeks and all I can say is ....... WOW !!

This vacuum picks up everything and is super easy to use. I have several long-haired cats who do their feline thing of shedding and tracking cat litter. After using this vacuum on their messes, my carpet looks like it's had a professional cleaning. The bare floor setting is great as well.

The only disadvantage I've found is that the bracket for the power brush attachment is rather flimsy. Easily solved by storing the attachment elsewhere.

Other "disadvantage" ... I can not stop vacuuming with it as it is that great.
